Privacy Policy

Marathi Junction collects account, profile, security, activity, device, moderation and communication data required to operate and protect the platform. Users control whether optional profile fields, email, location and additional profile information are public.

Media retention and safety

Uploaded photos and files may be retained in restricted archival storage after a user disables or requests deletion. Retention supports abuse investigation, legal compliance, fraud prevention and proof preservation. Disabled profile photos are blurred publicly and are not made available as direct public storage paths.

Public activity

Public posts, comments, poll creator details and quiz answers may display the user's profile identity. Quiz answer history is displayed publicly for up to 30 days; older answers are hidden from the public page but may remain in security records.

Contact and blocking

Private messages are visible to participants and authorized administrators when required for safety, support, abuse review or legal compliance. Blocking prevents ordinary contact but does not erase prior records.

Security

Passwords are hashed. Audit records include IP address, browser information, timestamps and actions. Access to retained evidence is restricted.

Rights and requests

Users may request correction, privacy changes or deletion from the dashboard. Deletion requires review and may be declined or delayed where retention is legally or operationally necessary.
